EdgeRacer the Washer
De-oiling, degreasing and cleaning both sides of the sheet in one pass
Manufacturers of sheet metal parts like to use oil to extend the service life of their tools and to increase the performance of modern laser cutting systems. After that, grease, oil and adhering dirt are undesirable. EdgeRacer the Washer removes these oil or grease residues and production-typical contaminants in a throughfeed operation. EdgeRacer the Washer can be operated stand-alone or in line with EdgeRacer deburring machines or deburring machines from other manufacturers.
Compact and flexible - a clean affair
EdgeRacer the Washer operators appreciate the clean and dry parts that leave EdgeRacer the Washer. They are perfectly prepared for further processing. This also applies to parts with 3D contours. Continuous separation of oil and solids from the water-based cleaning medium extends the change intervals of the cleaning medium.
De-oiling, degreasing and cleaning metal sheets - process description
Soiled parts come from the infeed conveyor into the washer and are cleaned there on both sides in a throughfeed. A sprayed cleaning agent separates the oil from the sheet metal. Two brushes then remove grease, oil and solids and ensure clean surfaces. Finally, rollers push off the last water residues. The workpieces leave the EdgeRacer the Washer clean and dry – optimally prepared for direct further processing. In addition, the cleaning agent preserves the surfaces for subsequent processing.
